Job Description
You build and extend existing web applications/websites for clients like Q-music, HLN, VDAB, Vlaams Woningfonds, ...
You work on different projects throughout the week. Example: on Monday you work on a platform that exposes data about their mortgage. Thursday you work on a platform that rents out modular video screens. Friday you fix a bug on a website that was build for a client of a web agency we work for. No week is the same.
You:
- have knowledge of PHP,
- have(some) experience with Symfony
- have knowlegde of git, MySQL, JSON, ...
- are a bit of a geek
- love to code
- love Deliveroo
I you have never heard of Symfony, composer, API's this is not a job for you ;-)
The forte of our team is development. We like to integrate different platforms to simplify our clients daily operations. Most of our projects use external API's, link different SaaS tools together, ...
Responsibilities
First of all you are a team player. Your responsibilities are:
- solve problems with code
- review other developers code
- track your time
- give guesstimates
- help think about the best approach to build a project
You communicate with the project manager, you won't need to communicate directly with clients, unless you really want to.

Interview process
We don't like lengthy administrative procedures.
The first step after receiving your mail is a short (digital) talk with our project manager Thijs. As a project manager Thijs can give you information about the projects, clients, way of working.
Next is a more "technical" talk with the other Tijs (yeah, we have 2 T(h)ijses). No questions about what is the second argument of strpbrk but an open talk about how you write code, how you handle some problems, ...
And that is it.
